Dr Bicky Bhangu is responsible for external relations and assuring operating platforms across business, functions and sites in Singapore. Previously, he had the global responsibility for managing the new services portfolio and high value long-term service agreements as Vice President at Rolls-Royce Marine Services.
Bicky has a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Control Systems, PhD in Advanced Machines and Drives from the University of Sheffield and an MBA in Technology Management. Early in his career, he was recipient of the prestigious Sir Henry Royce Technical Innovation award for his work on integrated power and propulsion systems and he was recognised as a global finalist at the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Innovation Awards.
Bicky is Fellow of the IET and a Chartered Engineer. He is the Deputy Chair for IET Singapore Network. He is on the steering committee for the IET Aerospace Technical Professional Network (TPN) and represents Singapore at the IET Communities Committee Asia Pacific.
Bicky is also the President of the Singapore British Chamber of Commerce. He is serving as the Chairman for Aerospace Industry Skills and Training Council (ISTC) supporting Workforce Development Agency (WDA) to oversee the skills development for the Singapore aerospace industry.
In addition, Bicky is an Adjunct Professor at the Division of Power Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
