With 20 years of experience in HR, Shazlina is an seasoned HR professional with exposure in many areas including Capability Assurance, Talent Sourcing, People Strategy & Development, and Leadership, to name a few.
 
Shazlina stepped into the Oil & Gas industry in 1993 and has never looked back. Since joining PETRONAS, she has developed her career in various areas and built a forte in talent development.  She has wide experience in developing talent and is deemed as the subject matter expert given her background in psychology.
 
Her extensive knowledge in this field has given her the opportunity to pioneer the Top Talent Management unit of PETRONAS, with a multitude of responsibilities that have a direct impact on PETRONAS’ long–term goals. She has led various leadership initiatives such as Mindset Change, Competency Development and Rethinking Talent Development & Management. In addition, she developed the PETRONAS ‘Top Talent Development Framework’ and is the go–to person for all C–Suite level succession planning. Besides overseeing the succession planning of corporate critical positions, Shazlina also holds the PETRONAS Talent Councils with the Top Management.
